Raleigh Hills Whole House Remodel

Location: Raleigh Hills, Portland, OR

Transform an outdated 1970’s home with amazing bones into a contemporary home with traditional elements and improve the overall flow, storage and lighting of the home in Portland’s Raleigh Hills. These were return clients who I knew very well from previous projects.  They love a mix of contemporary and traditional which is my absolute favorite way to design.  We were asked to take on transforming the entire home and join the interior with the amazing private back garden area. Inspiration came from the lines of the home, the abundant beauty outside, the windows, and the clients traditional aesthetic.

The highlight for me was being able to vault the ceilings and the transformations of the bathrooms was just epic.  I also loved the Dining Room for its ability to be completely private or wide open.  I liked the play of light and dark in that room in particular.

BEFORE

Arlene is a true professional, works well with our contractor and vendors and—most importantly—listens to us! This remodel was huge. Arlene has remained positive every step of the way and actually, dare I say, has made this process fun.
