North Park Blocks Wine Bar

Location: North Park Blocks, Portland, OR

Take a commercial space that once was an art gallery and make it into a swanky but approachable place to be. Working with the owner, Michael Madigan co-founder of CorksCru, our theme was wine, obviously, but I took my cues from the beautiful trees just outside the window and the warm color of a wine cork. The highlight was doing a wine bar for one of my favorite very long-time clients.  I had done two homes for them and helped with two other of their commercial spaces, Kitchen Cru and Bowery Bagels before this project.  I had A LOT to learn but I loved the experience.

This project was featured in Willamette Week.

Remedy might look torn from an issue of Architectural Digest, but this is medicine that goes down easy.
